An Owensboro tradition - Roberts Motors is athird generation family owned business located in the heart of downtown Owensboro. The dealership was founded in 1919 by Frank H. Roberts. After his son, Bill Roberts, returned from WWII, he took over full operations and moved the dealership to what was then considered "the farmlands of Owensboro". Those "farmlands" are now 3 full city blocks in the downtown business district of Owensboro, KY.

Mr. Bill is now "semi-retired", working only about 60 hours a week instead of 80. His son, John Roberts, is now the Dealer/Owner (and commonly known as "Mr. Nobody). Although the dealership has gone from sales of 450 cars a year to sales of over 1,400 a year, you'll still find the same casual atmosphere, friendly faces and great deals that have made this family owned business flourish for over 87 years!

They have won numerous awards for quality customer service including the Buick Best in Class award, the GMC 5 Star Service Award and GMC Mark of Excellence for a dealership.
